Vectra 3D Computer Imaging

Thousands of people consider plastic surgery each year, but many are hesitant to actually undergo their chosen procedure because of worry over what the results will actually look like. We understand this hesitation that many patients experience, and are proud to offer an advanced solution that allows patients to accurately visualize the results of their procedure before even committing to surgery.

The Vectra® imaging system combines three-dimensional photography with revolutionary computer software that allows prospective patients to preview what they will look like after breast augmentation, facial procedures and other types of cosmetic treatments.

How Vectra Works

During a Vectra session, the patient will stand in front of the camera system so three-dimensional photographs of the targeted area can be taken. These images are then pieced together with the advanced Sculptor™ software to create a computer-generated 3D model of the patient’s face, breast or body which can be completely customized and viewed from a wide range of angles.

Once the 3D model is created, specific adjustments can be made to simulate the actual results that can be achieved through cosmetic surgery procedures. These customizable images can be modified during a consultation to best resemble the patient’s desired goals from surgery.

Benefits Of Vectra

The images obtained with the Vectra system improve the surgical process for both patient and surgeon. While the patient can visualize the results of their desired procedure before even entering an operating room, the surgeon can use these images for precise surgical planning and to ensure clear communication between both parties. With its unique technology, there is virtually no risk of miscommunication between surgeon and patient after using the Vectra system.

While viewing before-and-after images of other patients can provide a general basis for your surgery, doctors and patients can now come to a clearly defined surgical goal by utilizing the 3D representation of the patient created by Vectra. After a thorough evaluation utilizing the Vectra system, many patients are highly satisfied with the outcome of their treatment.

Personalized Breast Augmentation Imaging

Breast augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures, as it effectively increases the size of the breast and provides patients with improved self-confidence and an enhanced appearance.

There are many different options available during the breast augmentation, which can be overwhelming to some patients.

The Vectra system allows for complete customization of the procedure so that patients can choose the implant brand, fill, profile, shape, shell, volume and placement, all of which are saved within the Sculptor software so that the exact same choices are used during the actual procedure.

Breast augmentation imaging with Vectra can also visualize the results of a breast lift performed with or without augmentation. Patients are often more confident and less anxious about surgery after a consultation with Vectra, as they know exactly what to expect from their breast procedure(s).

Achieve True Facial Beauty

Patients considering certain facial procedures can benefit from a consultation using the Vectra system that allows them to visualize their new face before actually committing to the procedure. The Vectra system can be used to simulate results for:

  • Rhinoplasty
  • Chin augmentation
  • Facelift
  • Forehead lift
  • BOTOX® Cosmetic
  • Lip augmentation
  • Skin resurfacing

Patients are able to see the results of individual procedures or from combining multiple procedures such as a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation to achieve full facial harmony. Vectra can also be used for nonsurgical treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and skin resurfacing so that patients can fully understand the details and expected results of each procedure before undergoing treatment.
